WHO: Jim Passé, world famous illusionist and star of NBC's World's Greatest Magic performs in Las Vegas, on television and in theaters around the world. Jim is the only illusionist performing entirely from a wheelchair. He was paralyzed 9 years ago in a cargo delivery accident.
WHAT: Jim Passé will be blindfolded (see photo to the left), assisted into the driver's seat of a car and then drive the car -- without any further assistance of any kind -- more than 3,000 miles.
WHEN: Beginning 9 a.m. on June 30th, 2004 and ending 2 p.m. July 6th. Check the Calendar of Events and The Blindfolded Drive map to chart his progress.
WHERE: Beginning in Manhattan in New York City, NY and ending 6 1/2 days later at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA
WHY: To raise $1 million to help research find a cure for paralysis.
